EASTER CONCERT

Music-lovers can enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment as Kent Youth Wind Orchestra stages its Easter concert.

A variety of classic arrangements will be played by KYWO, conducted by Alan Hutt, who is a former member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and now Professor of Brass at Wells Cathedral School.

Made up of 50 members aged 13-19, the orchestra covers a range of wind and percussion instruments but they are keen to recruit French horn and bassoon players.

Admission to the orchestra is by audition.

The concert will take place at 3pm on Saturday, April 13 at St Edmund’s School Theatre, St. Thomas Hill.

    Also Easter Services at St Paul's in Cliftonville. Good Friday: at 10.30 am followed by Hot Cross Buns, tea & Coffee. Easter Sunday: at 6.30 am on the lower promenade by Queens Court (end of Sweyn Road) followed by breakfast in the Church. 10.30 am is a family Communion service in the Church. All are welcome in God's name.
