A YOUNGSTER has been recognised for her charity work by the Tonbridge Lions Club and will represent the club in the South East District competition on November 25.

Jennifer Goodwin, a student at Sackville School, won the Tonbridge Lions Young Ambassador Award competition last week.

The judges said they were impressed by the range of her work, which has included raising £600 in a sponsored run.

Jennifer is donating her £100 prize money to Mind, the mental health charity.

Rebecca Fletcher, the runner up from Hillview School for Girls, is donating her £50 to the Scotts Project.
