A VILE pervert from Margate who admitted repeatedly raping a six-year-old boy has been jailed for life today.
Bracs, 56, formerly of St Paul's Road in Cliftonville, appeared at Canterbury Crown Court for sentencing after previously admitting, at an earlier hearing, six offences of rape in 2004.
Bracs had shared a house with the victim and his father for six months, when the offences occurred. Two other men allegedly involved in the crimes have since died.
The victim, now in his teens, told police of Bracs' acts last year and the pervert was charged in March 2012.
Passing sentence, Judge O'Mahony imposed the discretionary life sentence for each offence and reduced the minimum to be served to reflect Bracs' guilty plea.
Detective Constable Richard Brown, from Kent Police, said: "We can only imagine the effect that these horrific offences have had on the life of this young man. He was completely vulnerable due to being so young and was being cared for by adults who he should have been able to trust.
"He has shown immense bravery throughout the investigation and has been very well supported by all the members of his family."
