FIREWORKS FINDER

MAKE bonfire night go with a bang but let someone else take all the responsibility. Public firework displays include:

TODAY November 5.

WHITSTABLE. Whitstable Football Club, Belmont Road. Gates open 6pm for charity football match, fireworks at 8pm followed by disco. Advance adult tickets £5 or £7 on the door (children £3/£5). Family ticket for two adults and two children £12 in advance, £20 on the door. STELLING MINNIS: Rose and Crown. Bonfire 6pm and fireworks 6.30pm. Licensed bar, hog roasts, sausages and burgers. Donations for Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalous. Call 01227 709265.

Friday, November 6

SELLING: Sondes Arms (cor), near station. Bonfire and fireworks 7pm. Adults £3, children over 12 £1.50, younger children free. Family ticket £7.

Saturday, November 7

BARHAM: Recreation ground (parking opposite). Main firework display at 7pm. Hot and cold drinks, burgers and hot dogs. Adults £5 and children £2.50.

DODDINGTON. Palace Farm. Gates open 5.30pm, main display starts 7pm. Adults £5, under 16 £2, under seven free. Barbecue, bar and refreshments. In aid of Doddington Village Hall. Call Les Roberts on 01795 886332.

STURRY. Greenfields, Sturry Hill. Gates open at 5pm, bonfire at 6pm followed by fireworks. Hot dogs, bacon rolls, soup and sparklers on sale. Advance tickets from Sturry News, Mill Road or Broad Oak Farm Shop, Herne Bay Road £3 adults and £2 children, £4 adults and £2.50 children on the gate.
