Children's author visits Tonbridge primary school

PUPILS at a Tonbridge primary school were kept mesmerised in assembly this week when a children's author came to visit.

Adrian Townsend, whose works include the Gran's Gang books, spoke to youngsters at St Stephen's Primary School on Wednesday about being a writer.

"He was great," said Belinda Woodward who, along with the school's literacy co-ordinator Nicola Anderson, organised a visit and book signing.
