A CANTERBURY nurse and his son have been arrested in connection to a cannibal cop case in New York.
Dale Bolinger, 57, and son Rick, 30, have been released on bail. They were arrested on conspiracy charges, grooming and possession of child abuse images.
Police swooped on the terraced home on February 21.

The raid followed a tip off from police in America  who are working on the case of Gilberto Valle, currently on trial for plotting to kill and eat women.
The US police officer had been in online conversations with a British person and discussed ways of cooking female bodies.
Bolinger, 57, a father-of-two, has been suspended from his job by East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. His son runs a theatre group
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Two men aged 57 and 30 from the Canterbury area were arrested on Feb 21 for conspiracy offences, grooming and the possession of child abuse images. The two men are currently on police bail while inquiries continue.  Kent Police has been in touch with law enforcement authorities in the United States in relation to this investigation."
Valle was in regular contact with a British contact who used the aliases MeatMarketMan and Moody Blues, a New York court has been told. The contact claimed to have eaten at least two women.
Valle denies charges of conspiracy to kidnap and improper use of a federal database system, after he allegedly used a police computer to research potential victims.
